Chalong  is 11 kilos from Phuket town,  located on the southeast coast of Phuket. It is a nice residential area in Phuket and easy access to beaches,  food and shopping hub. The town is in the middle between Rawai beach and Phuket town. This is the place where you can catch a boat to Racha Island or hire a private boat to other islands, and most tourists like to hire a boat from Chalong Pier to go fishing.
