Rawai beach is 17 kilos from Phuket town and 5 kilos from Chalong circle, located at the end of the south coast of the island. There is a beautiful drive along the beach and restaurants by the beach. It is a stony beach, not suitable for bathing but its location is convenient to other islands offshore. People come here for fresh seafood because this is where a sea gypsy village located. There is a pier that you can take a walk to enjoying the view and see the locals fishing. Rawai beach is home to Promthep Cape to watch the best sunset on the island and a great place to train Muay Thai as there are many quality training schools in this area as well as its neighbor Nai Harn Beach.
